Our team

Hannah is supported by a dedicated team of experienced, caring staff who are all skilled at intuitively tuning in to each child’s needs. We maintain a high ratio of staff to children (a maximum of 3:1 for children under two and 1:1 for babies) so that staff can focus their full attention on the children. All staff are fully insured, DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained.

I grew up in a cedar shingled bungalow, down a lane in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Summer holidays were spent playing in the woods and fields with my brother and helping out at our neighbours farm. Nature is a part of who I am, wild food, crafts and preserving are big hobbies, but most of all I love children, love teaching and my vision is to create a warm and enriching Early Years environment where children feel safe, heard and valued.

Further education took me to Wales, a degree in Marine Biology, a growing enthusiasm for conservation and teaching, a move to Cumbria, an advanced Forest Schools qualification and Diploma in Informal Education, and full circle back to Sussex to start a family.

Caitlin Halliday

Nursery Manager

Barn Cottage

Caitlin joined Seasons in 2024 having worked in Early Years for nearly 10 years. "I’ve worked for West Sussex in social services which has given me a hands on insight in how to deal with child protection and safeguarding. My favourite part about working in childcare is being a part of watching children grow, reach their milestones, working closely with parents and being part of one big family. I don’t have children yet but would love to have my own family one day. In my free time I enjoy walks with my partner and dog Medusa, the gym and practise yoga."

Marnie Hilton-O'Neill

Deputy Manager

Seasons Nursery

As Deputy Manager at Seasons, Marnie supports Lucy in the day-to-day running of the nursery but also plans and implements our ambitious curriculum at Seasons at Aldingbourne. Marnie started in September 2022 and ever since has been a quietly capable, loyal and inspiring member of our team.

Marnie’s Great-Grandmother was trained by Maria Montessori and this knowledge has been passed through her maternal side for four generations. From the age of 18, Marnie worked at the family owned Montessori school and qualified as a Level 4 Montessori practitioner in 2017. When the pandemic hit, sadly the decision was made to close and shortly after, Marnie looked to relocate to West Sussex.

Her practice is not only inspired by Montessori principles but also by her connection to the outdoors, enjoying cycling, kayaking and walking during her time off. Marnie is one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever met. She always puts the children first, followed closely by her team and is an inspiring and dedicated leader.

Daisy Weston

Forest School Apprentice

Seasons Nursery

Kenna looks after our cabin and leads our art program. Kenna loves nature, animals (she has 5 dogs), gardening, drawing, painting and photography. “Growing up, my brother and I would spend most of our time in our Grandad's back garden, he had lots of dogs and land that backed off to my Grandad's garden centre. I loved growing our own food and helping with the garden centre. Most weekends for me were spent at my parents caravan in Wittering- we fell in love with the sea and my family moved down to Felpham in 2011. My favourite part about working with children is watching them grow and accomplish their milestones. I feel so proud with them every step of the way throughout their journey with us. Everyday is different and always so rewarding."
